It’s My Party (And I’ll Cry If I Want To)

Take Control Of Your Events By Getting Personal

Aren’t we are all good networkers, putting enormous mailing lists together of all the people we meet.

Big fat Facebook pages for events.

Email newsletters.

Evite and Eventbrite.

The downside of all of that is when our colleagues get deluged by our invitations, they go numb.  Your lists are getting bigger, but event attendance is not growing in proportion. So sometimes you got to grab a few names a day and make a personalized email or call.  That is sure to cut through the clutter and get many of them whose eyes are glazed over with all the automated outreach, to pay attention.
